Get ready to race through bubbles in our Mario Kart-themed Bubble Run! This fun event supports our school community, with funds going towards the Typetastic program, a new DIGITAL MARQUEE to keep everyone informed in real time, teacher grants, and enrichment programs. Join us in making a difference for our champions!
INDIVIDUAL Participation Prizes:

How to Get Started!
Register online and start collecting pledges! The goal for each Jog-A-Thon participant is to earn money from sponsors to help us reach our school-wide fundraising target of $45,000!

Dash Day Details & FAQs
On October 1st, students will jog or walk laps during their designated class time period of 20 minutes. The course will be located on campus and will be facilitated by OPA teachers, staff & cleared volunteers.
Dash Day Checklist
Students should:

1) What are we raising money for?
This year, funds raised for the Jog-a-thon will go towards

2) Where will the students run?
Participants will run, jog, or walk around a "track" blocked off on the blacktop
3) Will parents be allowed to come to school to run with their kids this year?
Yes, parents/guardians are welcome to come and cheer on their student/s. Only cleared volunteers may sign up to help.
4) How does my OPA student raise money for Jog-A-Thon?
Students can raise money by asking family, friends, and neighbors to sponsor them to run in the Jog-A-Thon. Sponsors can donate online via FundHub (see details for creating your student's pledge page above).
5) What is our financial goal for Jog-A-Thon?
Our all-school financial goal for Jog-A-Thon this year is $45,000. Each class will set its own goal to help reach the all-school goal. We understand this is a difficult year for everyone. Any financial support will be appreciated! We are asking OPA families to try to raise a minimum of $100 per student.
6) Can virtual students participate?
Yes, all virtual students will be put in one group/class on the FundHub website. We will track their donation and they are eligible for all individual prizes.
7) Do I have to wait until Jog-A-Thon is over to send in donations?
No, you or your student’s sponsors can send their donation on the FundHub site anytime during the event. In order to count toward the class goals, money must be received by October 4th, 2024.

Dear Friends and Family,
I’m excited to share that I’ll be participating in our school’s Mario Kart-themed Bubble Run! It’s going to be a day full of fun, racing through bubbles with my friends, but it’s also about something bigger—giving back to our school community.
We’re raising funds to provide the Typetastic program that our teachers have been requesting, a digital marquee to keep everyone updated on school events in real time, teacher grants and club grants. These improvements will make a big difference for me and my classmates!
